Poetry in MotionOur upcoming concert will feature compositions by Alfred Reed, Claude Debussy, Joseph Schwantner, among others, all of which are inspired by poetry or verse. Also included is Minton's Playhouse by James Syler, an homage to the storied Harlem jazz club, Minton's. Middle and High School Students get free admission to this concert by wearing your school T-shirt or showing your student I.D. at the ticket counter on the night of the concert. The ticket-sellers have been instructed to give free tickets to anyone who can prove student identity. We want to encourage band students to come hear this incredible band music!
