🎵Audition Information 2026-2027 Season🎵
updated June 18, 2026

The Triangle Wind Ensemble will be holding auditions for the 2026-2027 season on August 25 in Cary. We have openings for trumpet and concert percussion (must have experience in at least three disciplines: accessories, mallets, battery, and timpani). Most other sections will hold auditions for our substitute player call list. We frequently call on these substitutes to transition into full-time members. Please note that at this time, we are not auditioning for our flute section.  Flutists interested in playing with TWE should send a performance resume to [email protected].
For the audition, please prepare a short solo piece or excerpt (less than 5 minutes) which demonstrates your musical and technical abilities.  Feel free to play whatever best represents your playing. You will also be asked to sight-read a short selection.
If you are interested in an audition, please complete this Audition Request Questionnaire.  For more information, please contact our Personnel Manager at [email protected]
