ToC Marvelous Music Family Series: Around the World
Take a musical journey Around the World with the Triangle Wind Ensemble as we perform on the Town of Cary's Marvelous Music Family Series. This concert's itinerary features travel by land, sea, and air, with multiple layovers in locations as varied as Russia, Brazil, Persia, Japan, Argentina, and Britain.
Our concert will feature singer Elizabeth Thompson. She is a senior voice major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a second major in journalism. Her past opera credits include "Scipione" in Il Sogno di Scipione, "Boy" in Der Jasager, and "Noemie" in Massanet's Cendrillon. Elizabeth will be appearing as "Girl" in UNC Opera's production of Meredith Monk's Atlas in April. After graduation, she will be working at the Dallas Morning News Washington, D.C. Bureau as a political reporting intern.
