The Triangle Wind Ensemble kicks off its 2010-2011 season in a joint concert with the Triangle Brass Band.  The concert features composers of the British Empire, including Ralph Vaughan Williams, Percy Grainger, Gustav Holst and Gordon Jacob.  Robert C. Hunter and Tony Granados conduct.

An American Celebration:  Concert Singers of Cary and the Triangle Wind Ensemble invite you to bring a blanket, a picnic and some lawn chairs to enjoy our sixth annual outdoor concert of great American and patriotic music.  Robert C. Hunter and Lawrence J. Speakman conduct.

About the TWE

This year the Triangle Wind Ensemble (TWE) is celebrating ten years of providing the area's most talented amateur wind and percussion players with opportunities to explore and share with audiences the rich and varied literature for wind band in both formal and informal settings. Under the musical direction of Robert C. Hunter, TWE's vibrant performances and innovative programs have earned it both critical praise and popular appreciation throughout North Carolina.

TWE gives six to seven concerts each year throughout the Triangle and collaborates with other community ensembles on several special events each season, including annual Holiday Concerts and an annual Memorial Day Weekend concert at Cary's Koka Booth Amphitheater.  he Triangle Wind Ensemble is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Wake County, NC.
