About the TWE

The Triangle Wind Ensemble was founded in 1999 to provide the area’s most talented adult amateur wind and percussion instrumentalists with the very best performance opportunities.  TWE’s outstanding performances and innovative programming has earned the ensemble an outstanding reputation throughout North Carolina .  Recently TWE performed, by special invitation, at the North Carolina Music Educator’s Convention in Winston-Salem and received high praise from a very large and appreciative audience.  The ensemble performs six to seven concerts each year throughout the Triangle and maintains a commitment to collaborative efforts with local school music programs and other community ensembles such as the Concert Singers of Cary and the Triangle Youth Brass Band.   The Triangle Wind Ensemble is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Wake County, NC.
